A plug valve is a valve that uses a plug body with a through hole as the opening and closing component, and achieves the opening and closing action through the rotation of the plug body and the valve stem.
The plug valve has a simple structure, quick opening and closing, and low liquid resistance. In recent years, as one of the earliest valves adopted by people in history, it has not been replaced by ball valves and other types of valves. On the contrary, the market has shown an increasingly popular trend.
1、 The company has launched a series of plug valves
There are two basic series of plug valves:
1. X43F4 type: a sealing pair composed of a specially designed valve seat liner (PTFE or counterpoint polystyrene) and a steel plug body; The plug body is made of stainless steel (without lining).
2. X43F46 type: All valves are complete, and the surface of the plug body channel is lined with FEP. And the lining PFA, PCTFE, and temperature up to 300 are extended based on the basic form mentioned above. C. A new material of aligned polystyrene used for inlaying valve seats to meet various working conditions.
The X43F4 and X43F46 self-lubricating plug valves have a unique rocker arm adjustment device and an ideal plug cone angle design. They have good sealing performance, long service life, and the advantage of simultaneously sealing the inlet and outlet ends. Throughout the entire working process, the friction coefficient of the sealing pair is small, the plug body operates flexibly, and lubrication is never required.
3. X6DF and X6C3F models: Plug valves with X43F4 as the base type, connected to butt welding and socket welding ends, with a maximum pressure level of up to ANSI900Lb.
2、 Structural characteristics of X43F4 plug valve
1. The inlet and outlet windows of the valve body are designed with a double groove sealing ring structure. During the rotation of the plug, the sealing pressure between its sealing pairs gradually changes until it reaches the fully open or fully closed position, generating sufficient sealing pressure and achieving zero leakage in the sealing pair.
2. The double groove sealing ring can stabilize the PTFE liner inside the valve body without displacement, absorb the slight deformation caused by temperature difference changes, and generate strong wiping effect between the liner and the plug, thereby improving the service life of the sealing surface.
3. The upper part of the plug shaft adopts a combination of PTFE diaphragm, O-ring and adjusting gasket, which can adjust the sealing pressure between the sealing surfaces, make the plug rotate flexibly, and ensure the sealing of the inlet and outlet ends and the middle flange connection end.
4. The entire sealing process can be approximated as independent of the pressure inside the pipeline.
5. Within the PTFE liner, different materials are used as fillers according to the usage temperature and working medium, providing good lubrication and long service life.
